OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older and are professionals and volunteers that are in the emergency medical field, i.e., someone who responds to a medical emergency for the purpose of conducting triage of injuries and/or victims, rendering emergency medical treatment, and transporting victims to a hospital or other location for further treatment by medical personnel.  Emergency medical professionals and volunteers would include but are not limited to: Paramedics, EMT’s, Firefighters, Rescue Workers, Essential Emergency Room Personnel, and Marine Industry Rescue.  NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.  Entrants must have a valid e-mail address.  

2. PROMOTION SCHEDULE: You may enter the Promotion between 12:00:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 11, 2009 and 11:59:59 pm ET on April 11, 2010 (“Promotion Period”).

3. TO ENTER: To enter the Promotion, log on to www.LifeGuard30.com (the "Web Site") during the Promotion Period and click on the “Register For a Chance to Win” button.  Fill out an online registration form to include name, complete home address (no P.O. boxes please), date of birth, phone number, e-mail address, place of employment, employment address, employment phone number, current position and number of years in that position.  Once the registration form is complete and properly submitted, entrants will receive one (1) entry into the Drawing for one of the prizes identified below.  During the registration process, entrants will be asked to select which Grand Prize they would like to win and will be entered into the Drawing for that Grand Prize only.  To receive five (5) additional entries, watch the EMS Training Video that is available on the Web Site from start to finish and read through the EMS Quick Reference Guide.  Once this is completed, you will be asked to answer a six (6) question quiz.  If you do not receive a perfect score on the quiz, you will be automatically re-directed back to the EMS Training Video and EMS Quick Reference Guide to begin the cycle again.  Once you achieve 100% accuracy on the quiz, you will receive five (5) additional entries for the Grand Prize Drawing of your choice.  You may only receive five (5) entries total into the Drawing by successfully completing the quiz.  Automated methods of entry are prohibited.  You may receive up to six (6) additional entries for the Grand Prize Drawing of your choice by providing valid, unique email addresses of fellow Emergency and non-Emergency Medical Personnel.  For each valid, unique e-mail address you supply during the Promotion Period that is not already in the Sponsor's database, you will receive one (1) entry into the selected Grand Prize Drawing, up to a limit of six (6) entries across all Grand Prize Drawings.  A valid e-mail address is an active e-mail address associated with a real person other than the entrant.  If an e-mail address is supplied by more than one person, only the first person to supply that e-mail address will receive an entry into the Drawing.  You are limited to a maximum of six (6) email referral entries.  You may only refer individuals whom you know personally and believe would have an interest in the Promotion.  Automated methods of entry and/or use of commercial e-mail databases are strictly prohibited.  Entrants suspected of violating these terms will be disqualified.  Limit of twelve (12) entries total per person and/or email address throughout the Promotion Period across all Grand Prize Drawings.  Use of multiple e-mail addresses by the same person in order to exceed limits on entries will result in disqualification.    

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS, PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Winners will be selected in a series of 3 random drawings (“Drawings”) of all entries received on or about April 15, 2010 from all eligible entries received for each Grand Prize.  Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for each Grand Prize drawing.  Drawings will be conducted by an independent judging organization (“Judges”), whose decisions shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Promotion.  Limit one (1) prize per person, household and/or email address.

Three (3) Grand Prizes: There will be a total of three (3) Grand Prizes awarded.  The following prize packages are available to be won:

Grand Prize 1: The “Ultimate Urban Rescue Package” which includes a 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser outfitted with the LifeGuard30™ ultimate urban rescue kit (items in rescue kit to be determined by Sponsor); one (1) Panasonic Toughbook30; one (1) 2009 Piaggio MP3-500 scooter; and two (2) Motorola EX560 XLS two way radios.  ARV: $36,000. 

Grand Prize 2: The “Ultimate Marine Rescue Package” which includes a 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser outfitted with the LifeGuard30™ ultimate marine rescue kit (items in rescue kit to be determined by Sponsor); one (1) Panasonic Toughbook30; one (1) 2009 Yamaha FZR jet ski; and two (2) Lowrance LHR-80 handheld VHF/GPS Marine radios.  ARV: $36,000. 

Grand Prize 3: The “Ultimate Country Rescue Package” which includes a 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser outfitted with the LifeGuard30™ ultimate country rescue kit (items in rescue kit to be determined by Sponsor); one (1) Panasonic Toughbook30; one (1) 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550cc 4x4; and two (2) Motorola EX560 XLS two way radios.  ARV: $36,000. 

Vehicles will be on display during the Promotion Period at various events and therefore will have been driven and will not be “new.”  Vehicles are awarded as is.  Vehicle cannot be sold or otherwise transferred by Winner for 24 months from date of award and must remain unaltered for 24 months from date of award.  Color, package, factory options, and other prize specifics to be determined by Sponsor.  Sponsor does not make, and is not in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize vehicle chosen by the Winner including but not limited to their quality, fitness for purpose or mechanical condition.  Winner must have proof of a valid United States driver’s license from Winner’s state or place of residence in the United States to take delivery of vehicle; failure to show same may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.  Winner will be responsible for all optional equipment, title, license, insurance and registration fees required in claiming the prize vehicle chosen by the Winner, applicable taxes as well as all other expenses relating to the receipt and use of the prize vehicle, including any travel and transportation costs associated with collecting it.  All other costs not specifically stated herein as being awarded are the responsibility of the Winner.  Winner will be provided instructions to obtain his/her prize vehicle at a location to be determined by the Sponsor.    

TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES IN PROMOTION IS: $108,000.  

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participation in Promotion and acceptance of prize is subject to entrant’s employer’s policies.  Do not participate in this Promotion if your participation or acceptance of a prize is prohibited by your employer or applicable law.  Void where prohibited by law.  All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.  Winners are solely responsible for any taxes on their respective prizes, and will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of their prize.  No transfer of prize will be permitted.  No cash equivalent or substitution of prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.  By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules which are final and binding in all respects.  Winners are subject to verification.  Winners will be notified by mail and will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of attempted notification or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.  A prize won by an entrant who is an eligible minor in his/her state of residence will be awarded to the eligible minor's parent or legal guardian, who must sign and return all required documents.  Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants.  Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.  If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, or any prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner at Sponsor's sole discretion.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize or any portion thereof with another prize of equal or greater value.  If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify anyone who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, modify or terminate the Promotion.  In the event of cancellation, Sponsor will award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to termination.  This Promotion is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflicts of laws principles, with venue in the city of Portsmouth, Virginia, and all claims must be resolved in the federal or state courts of the city of Portsmouth, Virginia or the nearest United States District Court having jurisdiction over the parties and the subject matter of such claims.

6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: By acceptance of prize, Winner agrees to release Sponsor from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to person or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Promotion; from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize; or any typographical or other error in the Official Rules or the offering and announcement of prize.  Except if a Winner is a resident of Tennessee or where prohibited by law, Winner grants permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without additional compensation.
