What does LG30 stand for?

LG30 is the abbreviation for a LifeGuard30™ unit itself.

What is the LifeGuard30™?

LifeGuard30™ is a complete system designed to store and transport your emergency medical information for use at the scene of an accident or medical emergency. Your photo ID and personal information, medications, allergies, medical conditions, emergency contacts, and more are viewable at a moment's notice to insure that medical personnel make the correct assessment about you and your health in a medical emergency.

What information do I need to load my LG30 device?

In order to safely load your LG30 device, we must have certain information to make the system both useful as well as identify you as the user of the device. The minimum information required is as follows: A current Photo of you which is a good representation, 1 emergency contact person with 1 phone number, your current medications, your current medical conditions and a list of your allergies

Why do I get two devices?

Both devices are for one user. You have two devices so that you can carry one with you at all times and have another for back-up or if you have two sets of keys, you can place a device on each key chain.

What happens if I pull the tabs?

The tabs are used to power on your device by EMS during an emergency situation. If you accidentally remove the tabs, simply reinsert the tabs into your device. The device is equipped with an auto shut off and the batteries are designed to last two years.

What is a LifeCheck?

A LifeCheck is a coupon for you to share with family and friends upon purchasing a system or to use to apply to a gift you may purchase for someone else.

How many times can I update?

You can update your Lifeguard30 devices as many times as you need through your unique LifePin and the profile you set up on the website. Be sure to connect your devices and update them each time you make changes your online profile and print your updates for the refrigerator pocket decal.

How will Lifeguard30 protect my privacy on the device?”

We made this decision in an effort to protect the identity of our customers. Because we do not publish this information on your LG30 device, someone that finds your keys can not use the information to gain access to your identity, car or home. We also only wanted to collect the crucial information paramedics would find helpful when accessing a patients device.

What do I do once I have used an LG30 device in an emergency and paramedics or medical personnel have pulled the battery tabs?

Once the tabs have been removed from the LG30 device, we strongly recommend that you begin using your spare device and return the used LG30 device back to us for verification and reconditioning. We have designed a vigorous inspection process to ensure your LG30 device is working at optimal performance. When you return your LG30 device, we will conduct a complete inspection and replace the batteries. You simply ship the device back to us and pay a $20.00 inspection and shipping fee for its return. You will ship the used LG30 unit to ViVre Medical Warranty Services. Include a check or credit card information for $20.00 for the return shipping. Complete instructions and forms are located here.

LifeSupport

What is LifeSupport™?

LifeSupport™ is the back-up system to the LifeGuard30™. It was designed for use when the LG30 device is damaged, missing or becomes inoperable. LifeSupport™ can be used to retrieve all the same information that’s stored in your LG30 device, including positive photo ID, personal information, medications, allergies and medical conditions.

Website/Software

What is LifePin™?

The LifePin™ is each patient’s unique identification number used to grant access to the LifeSupport™ system. A LifePin™ consists of a series of letters and numbers (13 digits). When accessing LifeSupport™ using the LifePin™ you will only be required to use the ten numeric values. Example of a LifePin™: LUS1234567890. If you are using the text back system, talking to a LifeSupport™ operator or accessing a medical record online, you would just use the ten digit numeric values, 123456789, ignoring the letters. Note: The LifePin™ is located on the patients LG30 devices, wallet ID card, refrigerator decal and the medical ID bracelet.

Since the LifeGuard30™ system includes two devices can I use one LG30 device for myself and allow someone else to use the other device?

No, not really. The LifeGuard30™ system includes many items that will only support a single user. The system includes one unique user LifePin™, one medical bracelet and one wallet ID card. It is also important to have a back-up LG30 device in case you use one during an emergency and have to send it back to us for inspection. This provides you with a spare device to use while your device is in transit, never leaving you unprotected. If you own a LifeGuard30™ system, you should have received 3 LifeChecks™ and you can give the other person a LifeCheck™ to get $10 off their own system.
